Fabric House

Cashmere is the extremely soft hair of the Cashmere goat. The cashmere goat lives in Mongolia and the Himalayan mountains at altitudes. To withstand the cold, it has an unusually fine undercoat. At the yearly coat change, the under hairs are separated from the coarser guard hairs and are sorted by colour. Textiles made from cashmere are very soft, light, and lustrous; it is the most expensive hair fibre.

Our cashmere stock and production fabrics are distinguished amongst the best available: they come from historical and specialized producers of cashmere of the highest level, with careful and "rich" finishing, typical for "made in Italy".

Available as pure and mixed cashmere, coming from the best producers in northern Italy and Prato.
