Silk

Silk fibres are obtained from the cocoon and the larva of the silkworm, which mainly consist of proteins. This precious material is the only natural fibre from animal original which can be cultivated as never ending fibre. Silk is seen as both: cool and warming because filament silk is made into fine fabrics, with a small volume of enclosed air. Because of its fineness and softness it lies smoothly on the skin and it feels very comfortable. Silk is also known for its strength, resiliency and elasticity.
